Cavalier King Charles Spaniel wins Toy Group at local dog show

On August 2, 2008 Sadie and I attended a fun match at the Oklahoma City fairgrounds and Sadie won 1st place in the 3-6 month puppy class. Sadie also won Best of Breed puppy and went on to place 3rd in the Toy Group puppy.

On August 3, 2008 at the same fun match Sadie won 1st place in the 3-6 month puppy class along with Best of Breed puppy and went on to claim 1st in the puppy Toy Group capturing the opportunity to show in Best in Show competition. Today was a very fun day for Sadie along with it also being her 5 month Birthday. What an accomplishment at such a young age.

Sadie attended her first real dog show where points were awarded in Lawton, Oklahoma on October 18th and 19th, 2008. Sadie was entered in the puppy class 6-12 months of age. She was the only puppy in her class both days so it was an automatic class win. Sadie was shown by Professional Dog Handler Kari Smith of Rainbow Show Dogs and Canine Sports Academy where we participate in weekly training classes. Next year Sadie will go on the road with Kari in hopes of winning some points towards her championship title.
